ELFREDS ONION MARMALADE
A savoury marmalade that is lovey on Meats, Chicken, Cheese or Vegetables

- ELFREDS ONION MARMALADE A beautiful accompaniment for your grilled and roast meats. Made with brown onionsand Red Wine, seasoned with black pepper, mustard and cumin seeds.Serve with grilled lamb chops or gourmet sausages. Livens up a cheese board.ONION MARMALADE QUICHEUse to make delectable Caramelised Onion Tart. Butter and line a quiche dish with puff pastry. Spread a layer of Elfreds Onion Marmalade on the bottom of the puff-pastry about ¼ inch thick. Whisk 3 whole eggs with 200mls of full fat milk and 100mls of double cream. Season with salt and white pepper and pour over the onion marmalade until it comeswithin ¼ inch from the top of the quiche dish. Lightly sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese. Bake in a medium oven for 30 to 40 minutes.Serve with a salad of your choice. You can also make these into small tarts using a savoury or muffin tray.
